The Northern Pacific sea star is native to Northern China, Northern and South Korea, Russia and Japan. And thrive in temperatures from 7-10 degrees c. But can adapt up to 22 degrees in Australia, and are normally found about 25 meters down but can be up to 200 meters below the surface.
